The Eniac Ventures team has grown again!

This year, we’ve already announced hiring three new investment professionals — Dan Jaeck, Tim Wang, and Lacey Wisdom. (We’ve made content and operations hires, too.) Each of them has quickly become an integral part of our diligence and decision-making process, and they’ve just been joined by Claire Rafson.

Like Dan, Tim, Lacey, and fellow team member Kristin McDonald, Claire is working out of Eniac’s New York office. She’s passionate about democratizing access to capital, making essential services like fintech and health care more accessible, and embedding ESG (environmental, social, and governance) principles into companies.

Claire majored in history and Native American studies at Dartmouth. She joined Bain & Co. as an intern before eventually becoming a Senior Associate Consultant. Most recently, she was an ESG and Impact extern at Silver Lake Partners, where she worked to build out the firm’s ESG, DE&I (diversity, equity, and inclusion) and social impact strategies, both for itself and its portfolio.

In her free time, Claire likes to watch Broadway musicals and ride her e-scooter around Brooklyn — plus, she’s always looking for restaurant recs!

We’re thrilled to welcome Claire to the team, but we were also sad when we realized she was joining Eniac a few months after we’d taken our beautiful group photo. Luckily, she was able to remedy the situation with some deft editing, as you can see in the picture below.
